Sleep Well Sweet Boy

At 4:30 a.m. on Saturday June 9th, 2007, I helped
my best friend to the rainbow bridge. I held him tight, told him I loved
him, thanked him for the joy he brought to my life, and kissed him goodbye
as he gently and peacefully went to sleep. At 5 yrs 4 months of age,
and 4 years and 9 days from the time he walked into my life, my big
momma's boy is playing with those who have gone before him and is watching
over us from heaven. Sleep tight Mr. Lancey pants, though our time together
was short I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I love you and will miss you every day for the rest of my life.  |
