About Us

My love for this breed started at the age of 3 when my dad's friend needed to re-home his Great Dane, named Ickabod. Of course since Ickabod listened to my dad better than he listened to his owner it was a perfect match. Since then I was head over heals for Danes. It took 23 years for my dream of owning another Dane to come true. Early in my marriage my husband said he wasn't against adding a Dane to our family, but we had to wait until we bought our own home. In June of 1999 we purchased our home, and 2 weeks later my dream came true.

In 1999 My husband, John, and I established Trajon Great Danes. My love for these giant four legged furkids has turned into a deep passion and love for the sport of conformation showing. Since then, I have had the pleasure of meeting many new friends and mentors who graciously share their knowledge and experiences with me. Most of all I am blessed to be able to share my life with these gentle giants whose love and compassion warms my heart, and brings a smile to my face every day.
